Folk Pie
In 2020, I became inspired to learn why the world is the way it is, and tell stories to inform others, based on my self-education. The result of that was a series of YouTube videos as I tried my hand at retelling the history I was learning.
The result are some fun projects that feature dense, verbose information on a range of intersecting topics. They’re not perfect, but they are kinda fun, and you can watch my style become more refined over the course of them. I’ve long felt the weakest part of these videos are over-ambitious scope and audio-stuff.
While there haven’t been any new big videos since the Burlington II documentary (I’ve been focusing on writing this past year), there will be more to come in the future, as I consider what the future of the project will be like…
Let me know what you like or what critiques you have in the Contact Tab. I’d love to hear your feedback!
No matter which way you slice it, it’s Folk Pie.
