Each and every photo album has a story behind it.
I love making a photo album from every place I travel to, and these albums all come from their own time & place. Each is edited diligently to add my own personal impression to the photo, or to draw out what I think is lurking unseen. The result are moody collections that each have their own voice.
My photography is a two part process: snapping the pictures, then editing them in strange ways.
Every photo you’ll see here involves (1) a careful capture of a specific place in time and (2) my own alteration of the photo to create something totally new: slathering on my own interpretation. So the finished project is a synthesis of my camera’s and mind’s eye.
